Carter for years has played the game that every left wing agenda item is actually a tradional Religious/ American value.

Not to defend Mr. Peanut, or anything. But he is not evil.

Stupid, yes. And suffering from advanced stages of dementia. And he has always been offensive and - well just a dumb hick.

But evil?

Nahhhh. Save that term for LBJ and Obama. Now THEY are (were) evil.

Judaea wasn’t exactly a hotbed of sodomy in those days.

Doesn’t this argument mean ALL of the Old Testament laws must be followed by Christians?

No Bacon?

There are other New Testament writings that address homosexuality.

Pardon me for butting in your group, but isn’t the term “dogs” as in “Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet.” from Psalm 22, a reference to sodomites?

This is something I ran across years ago, and wonder if you or your group had ever seen the word interpreted as such.

Jesus spoke about fig trees shriveling up and giving no fruits and plenty of other coded parabollas because homosexuals were persecuting open speech, and because Jesus wanted to only talk to those willing to hear, so as to keep the like of guilt ridden fools like Carter away.

It’s how it rolls, too bad, so sad.

You can’t see me, but I’m giving Carter the same hate stare Laura Bush did when the LameAss Commie attacked her husband at the funeral of MLK’s wife.

Oh, and they’re not “gay”. They are homosexuals, and less than 2% of the population.

In Israel, at the time Jesus walked, homosexuality was not a big issue, so it isn’t surprising that Jesus didn’t directly address it. Besides, it is covered elsewhere in the old and new testaments, and if someone gets their values from scripture and Christianity, rather than make them up as events and desires dictate, it is impossible to not conclude that homosexuality is a sin, as are most divorces and multiple marriages, adultery, and premarital fornicating. To those we can add lusting in our hearts, something Jimmy is familiar with, and being envious of our neighbors, something most liberals are guilty of. We all have something to overcome in our Christian walks, and no one is doing homosexuals a favor by pretending they are okay with God when they aren’t. If there is anything this world needs in mega doses right now, it is truth.

“A Truly Evil Man”

Aw, ya think?

The Department of Energy, the Department of Education, Oil Crisis with the Arabs, Hostage Crisis with the Iranians, Camp David accords that effectively handcuffed Israel, the Panama Canal treaty, Three Mile Island nuclear meltdown, Stagflation, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, and Billy Carter, the liaison with Khadaffi and Libya.

About his only positive legacy was Habitat for Humanity.

Carter is too stupid to actually be evil, however he is just smart enough to be his own useful idiot.

Jimmuh Cartuh doesn't know very much about the Bible. Most self-absorbed sanctimonious pecksniffian hypocrites don't.

I have always loathed Carter as a phony. That is why I cast my first vote for Gerald Ford (I was too young to vote for Reagan in the primaries). Lots of people, including Howie Carr, made the mistake of voting for Jimmuh, but not me.

Of course, as I had not made the mistake of voting for one Carter, it is obvious that I would not vote for the Jimmy Carter on steroids, the Messiah.

Also, Carter says he is a nuclear physicist. He worked in the boiler room of a nuclear submarine, but that doesn't make him a nuclear physicist -- an engineer maybe. Impressive, but no nuclear physicist.

Herman Cain is the real rocket scientist!

In a bad movie he would make a really creepy villain and evil mastermind. That quiet manner would fool everyone.

Great way to shut people up. Do you believe in the Trinity? That will start them getting nervous. I love it. They will either have to deny that - which is a far bigger deal than they think - or they will eventually lose the argument.

Jimmy Carter is simply a man without the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

Try searching for “Jimmy Carter” + “Bible” + “Pope John Paul II” - if you want to have your mind blown by Carter’s idiocy.

About 10 days ago Jimmy release a new book about the bible which was apparently some of his interpretations of the bible. At the time there was an article about some of his memoirs written when he was in the White House. He wrote about his meeting with Pope John Paul II and how he (Jimmy) was angry with Pope JPII because they had discussed the Marxist liberation politics of Central America, and also Carter told Pope JPII that the church should definitely ordain women priests. It happened the Pope John Paul II did not agree with Carter and he told him so. Carter said the “Pope John Paul II reminded him of the Ayatolla Khomeini!!! Yup, that’s the logic in Jimmy Carter.

What is truly amazing in this article is that Carter is so stupid that even today in hindsight, Carter still thinks he knew better than John Paul II about liberation theology and women priests. What a doofus.
