1) Jesus lived ___SINLESSLY___:
He is the only One who could possibly pay for sin with His life.
"(God) made Him who knew no sin..." (2 Cor. 5:21a, NASB)
2) Jesus died ___INTENTIONALLY___:
He both became sin and took our sin on the cross.
"...to be sin on our behalf." (2 Corinthians 5:21b, NASB)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.'" (Galatians 3:13, NIV)
3) Jesus provided ___TOTALLY___:
He so fully paid for sin that God sees us as completely righteous.
"...so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21c, NASB)
"(Abraham) believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." (Galatians 3:6, NIV)
