Once that Waterloo is crossed, forget about God staving off any deserved judgment of this country.
When conservatives & conservative Christians become -- of all people --
--catalysts & apologists for socialism...
...catalysts & apologists for abortion...
...and catalysts & apologists for "I'm-the-god-you-get-to-vote-for" Romney -- otherwise historically known as "idolatry" (coupled with the aiding & abetting idol-worshipers)...
...they lose ANY provocation whatsoever about abortion & socialism & liberalism...
...& then...
...say goodbye not only to the GoP...
...but the U S of A.
Obviously sin has existed in every culture -- including "institutional sin." So that alone cannot be the only basis for God's judgment. What has made a culture ripe for God's judgment is the lack of salt & light & preservative righteousness found within those cultures:
2 Chron. 7:14 puts the burden on God's people -- not simply on the culture at-large.
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
If God's people become part of the very problem of slaughtering offspring, depending upon govt instead of God (socialism), and lifting up men who claim they are a "god in embryo" as their "political savior," we invite God's judgment.
The same held true for Abraham interceding for cities in Genesis 18:
Genesis 18:23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?
Genesis 18:24
What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it?
Genesis 18:25
Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
Genesis 18:26
The LORD said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
Genesis 18:28
what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?” “If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”
If there are NOT enough people who will refuse to vote for one of the two socialist, pro-abortion, POTUS liberals, judgment day will be upon us!
