TO ALL,

May we be followers of CHRIST! Christ being the love of GOD for us to follow, live, and spread.

HE knows our hearts and darkest secrets, and does not expose them to the world ( like we try to do with one another). Instead, HE gives us just righteous punishment for them. HE covers our sins from the world, which should give us guilt for what we have done in order for us to never do it so openly, or prayerfully ever again. This new awareness of what we were and have done should also humble us to a point of gratefullness and joy of still being alive, since the wages of sin is death. Then we should love one another and have patience for one another, as HE has for us.

May we follow this pattern with one another.

Correcting one another one on one in truth through righteous judgement, and never judging someone's spiritual destination. No one knows where heaven or hell truly is, so, never us should ever say someone is going to either place. Let's always remember how GOD has changed us. So, the means that HE can also change the person we are judging.

Let's be loving, gracious, merciful, steadfast, peaceful, honest, and humble with one another. Only correcting the physical actions of others, rebuking spirits in one another, and reproofing our false understandings/actions with one another through the WORD! Anything else is interpretation, which is man's ego; which is sin.

May HIS love lay abundantly in all your hearts.

Remember how HE changed you and how long it took. Have 70 times more of patience for the next human being that you want to see make a change. Pray for them, tell them about JESUS, and wait for GOD to touch their hearts to guide them on the steps to make their change.

LOVE TO ALL!!

Please pray the LORD's PRAYER and please read:

HEBREWS 12:1-11

1 With so many witnesses in a great cloud all around us, we too, then, should throw off everything that weighs us down and the sin that clings so closely, and with perseverance keep running in the race which lies ahead of us.

2 Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who leads us in our faith and brings it to perfection: for the sake of the joy which lay ahead of him, he endured the cross, disregarding the shame of it, and has taken his seat at the right of God's throne.

3 Think of the way he persevered against such opposition from sinners and then you will not lose heart and come to grief.

4 In the fight against sin, you have not yet had to keep fighting to the point of bloodshed.

5 Have you forgotten that encouraging text in which you are addressed as sons? My son, do not scorn correction from the Lord, do not resent his training,

6 for the Lord trains those he loves, and chastises every son he accepts.

7 Perseverance is part of your training; God is treating you as his sons. Has there ever been any son whose father did not train him?

8 If you were not getting this training, as all of you are, then you would be not sons but bastards.

9 Besides, we have all had our human fathers who punished us, and we respected them for it; all the more readily ought we to submit to the Father of spirits, and so earn life.

10 Our human fathers were training us for a short life and according to their own lights; but he does it all for our own good, so that we may share his own holiness.

11 Of course, any discipline is at the time a matter for grief, not joy; but later, in those who have undergone it, it bears fruit in peace and uprightness.

Praise JESUS,

Why?

Why should I follow a God who doesn’t respond to prayer?

Why should I follow God who ignores my pain?

Why should I follow a God who allows a demon like Obama to be put into office with a cult leader about to follow him there?

I used to be where you are but not anymore.

I used to be where you are but not anymore.

Are you sure???  Did you trust him with all your soul and body and spirit???  Did you search out his words in the scriptures he gave us???

In times past, I have been angry at God...  But thank God, he has always been patient with me while I got over it...

Why should I follow a God who doesn't respond to prayer?

I have found that God always answers prayer...It's that he sometimes says 'no' to my requests...  Does that make God a bad God???  I don't think so...

I have found that I often pray for the wrong thing, or in the wrong way...I find it comical that I still pray and ask God to change people to make my life easier...And God still comes around and tells me that I need to ask God to change 'me' so that I will be treated differently...

God has a plan...And we have a plan...But our plans are not always in tune with God's plan...His plan will prevail...And we must be confident that his plan in the long run, is far better than our plan...

Why should I follow God who ignores my pain?

God provides comfort for mental/emotional pain...He doesn't necessarily remove the pain, but if you move in close to him, he'll put his arm around you and you know he's there...

Perhaps again, you're looking to reverse a situation and God fails to respond (in your view)...If God won't reverse it, ask God to help you get thru it...

If the pain is physical pain, you may have to live with it...I know I do...But hey, if I pray to God every day to remove my pain, at least I'm talking to God every day...Maybe he knows that without the pain, I wouldn't bother with him...

Why should I follow a God who allows a demon like Obama to be put into office with a cult leader about to follow him there?

Like I said, God has a plan...And it will be carried out...Jesus is coming back, soon...If we all lived in a eutopia on earth, who would be waiting for Jesus to come again???

Jesus says to 'watch'...And when we see these things happen, look up...He's on his way....

So you've rejected God yet you're hanging around religion forums...Perhaps the Holy Spirit is not willing to let you go...

This may not be a very conforting post and for that I apologize...Jesus is the one you need to go to for comfort...

Jesus has comforted me during so many tragedies, I almost can't count them...Death of a young sister...Death of both parents...Death of best friends...Failed marriage...Lost employment...Cancer...Heart bypass surgery...

He didn't reverse any of them...But he's gotten me thru them and is still getting me thru them...I couldn't make it physically or mentally without God...

Mat 11:28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

(Absolutely)

In times past, I have been angry at God... But thank God, he has always been patient with me while I got over it...

(Is 3 1/2 years of prayer and supplication with thanksgiving enough?)

Why should I follow a God who doesn't respond to prayer?

I have found that God always answers prayer...It's that he sometimes says 'no' to my requests... Does that make God a bad God??? I don't think so...

God has a plan...And we have a plan...But our plans are not always in tune with God's plan...His plan will prevail...And we must be confident that his plan in the long run, is far better than our plan...

(God requires that I provide for my family. My wife has MS and is permanently disabled and can't work. I'm not asking for a million dollars or to win the lottery. I only asked god to help me do what he told me to do in the scripture. My wife and children have been praying for me to find a 2nd job for over 3 years and "nothing." Even if I don't have faith enough to believe even though I have been a believer since 1974, surely my wife and children's prayer would put a dent on heaven turning to brass - but still nothing.)

(Nice in theory that God walks with you through it but so what? Still in pain, physical and emotional that god has failed me or just flat out hates me.)

(Then why vote? All those people who voted for Palin were fighting God's will according to your view. So we wanted someone godly and god wanted someone evil so we loose?)

So you've rejected God yet you're hanging around religion forums...Perhaps the Holy Spirit is not willing to let you go...

(This is a political forum. Not a religious one. Since I reject the way god behaves toward me, I'm not allowed to say so on a "religious forum?")

(If that is god on your side, what would it be like with him not on your side? Wow.)

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (He hasn't)

Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.(No rest, just heartache)

Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (God's definition of light is sure different than mine.)

Thanks for trying to comfort me. I know that your argument is much harder to make. I want to believe you. I want god to be on my side. I want to provide for my family. But it appears Nobama has more power over me than god does.

Tokien,

GOD BLESS US ALL! Many here ask “ worldly “ questions or can be very emotional in faith due to certain things happening in their life at the moment. Due to my love for GOD, I follow JESUS ways of answering these kinds of questions.

Many want me to answer question on politics and other worldly issues. These questions I do answer, but not publicly. I answer those in private messages, because GOD has sent me here to edify other believers through HIS WORD, so the can be strong in this world. Prayfully seeing support that can help them minister in the environment GOD has put them in. Prayfully, these posts can also change a non-believer to be a believer ( GOD willing/GOD allowing/GOD choosing).
Questions in the “ worldly” genre with answers can confuse some believers.

I say this so that anyone after you can know that I do not push aways these discussions, but I just do them privately. So, I have sent you a private message.

Also, if you are still reading the WORD, despite where your emotions are at the moment. TRy re-reading the story of Jonah. Great story for the understanding of GOD just has HIS way for a bigger plan and for us to realize that HE is in control. No worries, HE answers prayers, but in HIS time and HIS way. Many times we are not ready ( in the heart, mind and body) to receive the answers we pray on. Also, many times the answer to our prayers are there in the WORD, but, we just have to search.

Judge nothing and no on in condemnation, because that can be the person, people, or situation where HE puts our answers to our prayers.

JONAH 4:1-11
1 This made Jonah very indignant; he fell into a rage.

2 He prayed to Yahweh and said, ‘Please, Yahweh, isn’t this what I said would happen when I was still in my own country? That was why I first tried to flee to Tarshish, since I knew you were a tender, compassionate God, slow to anger, rich in faithful love, who relents about inflicting disaster.

3 So now, Yahweh, please take my life, for I might as well be dead as go on living.’

4 Yahweh replied, ‘Are you right to be angry?’

5 Jonah then left the city and sat down to the east of the city. There he made himself a shelter and sat under it in the shade, to see what would happen to the city.

6 Yahweh God then ordained that a castor-oil plant should grow up over Jonah to give shade for his head and soothe his ill-humour; Jonah was delighted with the castor-oil plant.

7 But at dawn the next day, God ordained that a worm should attack the castor-oil plant — and it withered.

8 Next, when the sun rose, God ordained that there should be a scorching east wind; the sun beat down so hard on Jonah’s head that he was overcome and begged for death, saying, ‘I might as well be dead as go on living.’

9 God said to Jonah, ‘Are you right to be angry about the castor-oil plant?’ He replied, ‘I have every right to be angry, mortally angry!’

10 Yahweh replied, ‘You are concerned for the castor-oil plant which has not cost you any effort and which you did not grow, which came up in a night and has perished in a night.

11 So why should I not be concerned for Nineveh, the great city, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left, to say nothing of all the animals?’

1 CORINTHIANS 1:25-29

25 God’s folly is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength.

26 Consider, brothers, how you were called; not many of you are wise by human standards, not many influential, not many from noble families.

27 No, God chose those who by human standards are fools to shame the wise; he chose those who by human standards are weak to shame the strong,

28 those who by human standards are common and contemptible — indeed those who count for nothing — to reduce to nothing all those that do count for something,

29 so that no human being might feel boastful before God.

MARK 13:2-23

2 And Jesus said to him, ‘You see these great buildings? Not a single stone will be left on another; everything will be pulled down.’

3 And while he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, facing the Temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew questioned him when they were by themselves,

4 ‘Tell us, when is this going to happen, and what sign will there be that it is all about to take place?’

5 Then Jesus began to tell them, ‘Take care that no one deceives you.

6 Many will come using my name and saying, “I am he,” and they will deceive many.

7 When you hear of wars and rumours of wars, do not be alarmed; this is something that must happen, but the end will not be yet.

8 For nation will fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. This is the beginning of the birth-pangs.

9 ‘Be on your guard: you will be handed over to sanhedrins; you will be beaten in synagogues; and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, as evidence to them,

10 since the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations.

11 ‘And when you are taken to be handed over, do not worry beforehand about what to say; no, say whatever is given to you when the time comes, because it is not you who will be speaking; it is the Holy Spirit.

12 Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will come forward against their parents and have them put to death.

13 You will be universally hated on account of my name; but anyone who stands firm to the end will be saved.

14 ‘When you see the appalling abomination set up where it ought not to be (let the reader understand), then those in Judaea must escape to the mountains;

15 if a man is on the housetop, he must not come down or go inside to collect anything from his house;

16 if a man is in the fields, he must not turn back to fetch his cloak.

17 Alas for those with child, or with babies at the breast, when those days come!

18 Pray that this may not be in winter.

19 For in those days there will be great distress, unparalleled since God created the world, and such as will never be again.

20 And if the Lord had not shortened that time, no human being would have survived; but he did shorten the time, for the sake of the elect whom he chose.

21 ‘And if anyone says to you then, “Look, here is the Christ” or, “Look, he is there,” do not believe it;

22 for false Christs and false prophets will arise and produce signs and portents to deceive the elect, if that were possible.

23 You, therefore, must be on your guard. I have given you full warning.

MATTHEW 5:44-45

44 But I say this to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you;

45 so that you may be children of your Father in heaven, for he causes his sun to rise on the bad as well as the good, and sends down rain to fall on the upright and the wicked alike.

JOHN 8:3-11

3 The scribes and Pharisees brought a woman along who had been caught committing adultery; and making her stand there in the middle

4 they said to Jesus, ‘Master, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery,

5 and in the Law Moses has ordered us to stone women of this kind. What have you got to say?’

6 They asked him this as a test, looking for an accusation to use against him. But Jesus bent down and started writing on the ground with his finger.

7 As they persisted with their question, he straightened up and said, ‘Let the one among you who is guiltless be the first to throw a stone at her.’

8 Then he bent down and continued writing on the ground.

9 When they heard this they went away one by one, beginning with the eldest, until the last one had gone and Jesus was left alone with the woman, who remained in the middle.

10 Jesus again straightened up and said, ‘Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?’

11 ‘No one, sir,’ she replied. ‘Neither do I condemn you,’ said Jesus. ‘Go away, and from this moment sin no more.’

2 TIMOTHY 2:7
7 Think over what I have said, and the Lord will give you full understanding.

I pray GOD has you and all understand the love HE has for us. But all things take time. We are all a work in progress.

Love to you and all people in the holy precious name of JESUS,

GOD BLESS US ALL,

Jesus4life
