I'm just trying to stop people trying to help reelect Obama, that's all, Jim.

I guess my real question is, why am I hitting such a sore spot on some who think it's more important to oppose Romney/Mormonism than it is to defeat Obama. Like him or not, America can survive Romney and Mormonism. We well may not survive a 2d Obama term, especially when he has nothing to lose.

And like it or not (and I don't like it) Either Romney and Obama will be elected in November. The primaries were nothing more than the semi-finals. In the long run, nothing counts buy November.

With all respect, here is the bottom line from Realpolitics 101 on this.

If FR takes a position that in any way opposes the election of the Republican candidate, FR loses. Here's how. It may sound strange, but it's political reality.

If the Republican wins, and if it is in the face of FR opposition, then post-election FR AND ITS BELIEFS have no drag in DC. Why, you ask? Why would anyone support you or FR if you opposed their election? Post-election is when they bayonet the politically wounded.

If Obama wins, free speech on the ‘net as we know it is dead. We all know that.

Ergo, opposing the MORE CONSERVATIVE major candidate is political suicide, not matter who wins. We may not like it, but it is the reality.

You and John, and the Mrs. have worked waaaaaay too hard to establish FR as a major power in the American political scene to see it lose influence or presence. During the 2000 and 2004 elections it was THE reallying point for online Conservatives. It was also watched by Conservatives in the MSM to see what the “red states” really thought. I'm sorry, but it has lost much of that sheen recently.

Jim, you are certainly entitled to do whatever you want to do, but as a supporter, and devotee of your work, I would beg you, please, please, please, do not let “your baby” descend into obscurity, or worst of all, be seen as discouraging Conservatives from voting in November.

November writes our country's future. I am personally very disappointed that Newt did not win the primaries, but I'm taking it like a man, putting away my distaste for Romney, and working as hard as I can to defeat Obama.

Is that too much to ask any Conservative to do, notwithstanding how much as we may dislike Romney?

Do we dislike Romney so much we are willing to help reelect Obama to defeat Romney.

Please Jim, I know you are tired, and I know you hurt at times. But please keep FR on track to help rescue America. It's that important, and it all depends on November.

You don’t know me very well if you think I’d support an abortionist, homosexualist, liberal/progressive, socialist statist for the presidency. Not gonna happen and I told everyone that up front. The GOP has done screwed the pooch.

In your own, insane way.

I figger the country is screwed for at LEAST the next 4 years either way; and a person's SOUL is of MUCH more value than this country which has lost it's moorings.

If you have read the Book, as you seem to claim, then you KNOW what happened, time after time, when the Jews failed to follow their GOD.

We, as a Nation, can NOT say we have not been warned.

Proverbs 14:34

Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a disgrace to any people.
