I am a 68 years old Christian, Nam Vet, Independent Conservative who loves his country and as I once put it all on the line, I will do WHATEVER it takes (yes, including holding my nose and crawling over a 100 yds of broken glass) to vote for ANYONE who may defeat our FASCIST, HATE-AMERICA/MILITARY, SURRENDER-TOOL, NEO-COMMIE, Dear Leader.

I would have gladly supported Sarah, but that was not to be.

Then I supported Bachman, Perry and Cain respectively and Santorum lukewarmly.

The RINO Romney was my last and least favored candidate, but I've NOT seen ANYTHING he has said (OR DONE) which leads me to believe he would ACTIVELY work to HARM our Country.

Have you people not been paying attention to what O'Bummer has been doing to our Great Republic?

And y'all want to allow him to continue his march towards our DESTRUCTION?

I'm very close to bagging it with Free Republic as there are way too many here who want to put so called "Principles" (phony though they may be) above the survival of our Country.

But the central thesis of my post, is that we must think deeper than the shallow paradigm that the establishment gives us. We must consider the equation of Divine Providence. If you are going to make a useful comment here, you need to speak to the issue of Divine Providence.

Gay Marriage is a States Right Issue. DOMA is the Law of the Land and should be enforced. Obama chooses not to, which is hilarious because Bill Clinton signed it into Law.

If a State can decide that First Cousins cannot Marry, they can decide if Marriage is defined as between a Man and a Woman, or not.

As far as I'm concerned, if a State decides that Polygamy is Legal, then it's Legal in that State but not in others. DOMA should extend to that as well, or it should be updated.

If the entire Economy collapses under the weight of a $16 Trillion Dollar Debt (and growing), the definition of Marriage will be the last thing people will worry about.

I wonder how many FReepers have “lived with” someone before, and if they got Married to that person or someone else?
