Anedoctally speaking homosexuality in the islam world is far more persuasive than the western world will ever be. Religion and intolerance just does not allow it to be spoken freely and openly.

Taliban are Sunnis- of the Wahabbi sect. Ahmadinejad is Shia. To the Taliban, Ahmadinejad and other Shia's are heretics, worse than Christians and on par with Hindus in their eyes -- to be slaughtered with no mercy.
