What do you get for the G-d who has everything? Does He really need us? Why is He so concerned whether or not we accept His Torah and do what He asks?

I’ve long thought that God receives a net return on goodness from the human species collectively, and that God, in effect, feeds off that goodness.

I know that from the media daily it seems that God is repaid in collective evil from humanity. But I’d be willing to bet that through countless small and larger charitible deeds and acts performed by human beings every day that there is a collective good that results, and that this gives glory to God and assures our continued existence through Him.

“For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.”
