Ping. There is a partial list of organizations suing Obama Administration.

It appears all of the Dioceses of Michigan (Michigan Catholic Conference) are suing the Obama Administration...

This is fantastic news, but where are all the other dioceses? They have employees too!!

U.S. Bishops and Dioceses

And how about all the other Catholic Colleges and Universities?

Contact your bishop.

I’m thinking this has to be 100 percent just like the original bishops coming out against the HHS. They ALL need to be in this lawsuit — or else there are loopholes.

I’m chuckling to myself — can you imagine, just imagine that OCP would also be on this list of employers going after Obortion Obama?

Buyers remorse? They voted him in with a 54% majority.
Perhaps they should have read up on him a little more in 2008

More non-Catholics voted for Obama than did Catholics. Looks at the big picture please.

Meanwhile, back to the subject of suing Obama — do you approve or not?

Archdiocese of Washington

Today, the Archdiocese of Washington filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to challenge the Department of Health and Human Services’(HHS) unprecedented mandate dramatically redefining religious ministry and requiring religious organizations to provide coverage for drugs and procedures in direct conflict with their religious beliefs. Archbishop Carroll High School, Inc.; Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, Inc.; the Consortium of Catholic Academies of the Archdiocese of Washington, Inc.; and The Catholic University of America are also plaintiffs in the same action. This local lawsuit is one of 12 actions filed nationwide today, on behalf of 43 separate Catholic institutions around the country

We have posted a video message from Mrs. Jane Belford, Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Washington and created a webpage at which you can follow the developments.

Pray

There are two ways that we are asking you, firstly, join us in prayer. Prayer is our most significant tool in the fight for freedom. Each time we engage in conversation with our Lord, He gifts us with the grace to become His witnesses in the world. Join the faithful from the Archdiocese of Washington each day at 3pm and pray for the protection of religious freedom. Take a minute out of your day and pray the following:

Loving Father, Thank you for the gift of life and for the freedom to love and worship You. Through the power of the Holy Spirit inspire us to be your witnesses. Grant us the courage to boldly and joyfully stand in protection of our freedom. In your mercy, guard our religious freedom so we may continue to live out our faith and transform the world in which we live. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Talk with friends and family

If you are like me, you have had a lot of conversations about this topic and know that there is a lot of misinformation being shared. Help get good information into the hands of family and friends by sharing these links and having the courage to raise the issue.

just imagine that OCP would also be on this list of employers going after Obortion Obama?

Is OCP actually Catholic?

If OCP were on trial for being Catholic, would there be enough evidence to convict them?

Well there are more non-Catholics than Catholics. It was 52/44 in the general election, so the Catholic vote was a higher percentage in Obamas favor. (albeit only by 1 point - 54/45)

to answer your question, yes I approve of them suing and hope they win, for our sake....I just have no sympathy for those that voted him in. Reap what you sow!

I really do doubt it.

The percentages really got messed up. Here's something from six months or so after Obama took office -- so they are old numbers, but they are mind-boggling at how many people voted for him. Catholic just get blamed for everything. This wasn't all Catholics.

50 percent of Catholics (Catholics make up about 22 percent of the U.S. population.) approve of his presidency, down from 67 percent in his first six months in office.
DOWN 17 POINTS

among non-Catholic Christians, who make up 55 percent of the U.S. population, had fallen from 58 percent to 43 percent.
DOWN 15 POINTS

Mormon respondents, who represent about two percent of U.S. adults, fell from 43 percent to 26 percent
DOWN 17 POINTS

About 78 percent of Muslim respondents approved of the Obama presidency, down eight percentage points from when the question was first asked.  (86)
DOWN 8 POINTS

atheists, agnostics, and members of other non-Christian religions, who comprise about 13 percent of the U.S. population -- While about 75 percent of these respondents approved of President Obama at the start of his term, their approval declined to about 64 percent.
DOWN 11 POINTS

Jews were the religious group third likeliest to approve of President Obama, giving him 61 percent approval. This too is a decline: in January-June 2009, their approval rating of the president was 77 percent.
DOWN 16 POINTS

Overall, 48 percent of Americans approve of President Obama’s job, down from 63 percent in the first months of his presidency. Gallup claims that its survey of over 276,000 adults claims an overall margin of error of plus or minus one percent.
DOWN 15 POINTS

You speak the truth, friend. Action by the individuals is what is needed here.

I sent three articles to my priest this afternoon. Tomorrow I send them to the Bishop.

We think alike. ;-)
