Basically there is a big group of nuns in the US who are pretty much just a Catholic extension of the National Organization of Women. Feminazi nuns, in other words; lesbian, abortion activists, etc. The Vatican recently issued a statement slapping them down for supporting abortion and not following Catholic teaching. Understandably, this hurt the poor nun-zies feelings so their liberal priest friends are being all "supportive and stuff."
