imho = in my humble opinion

Yes, HG Wells and Heinlein are pretty well known, thank you. However, the fiction of H and W are worlds better than the fiction of Smith or say Emperor Xenu. M is built on bad fiction, but hey, if people want to be stupid to join some fiction, they can.

What is insidious is when these portray themselves as Christian, the Church of .... etc

These feed off the American Evangelical/Pentecostal Christian tradition of new churches, new pastors etc. so people say "ok, we joined this new Baptist Church, new Unitarian Church, new mega-church etc." and then for folks who don't check enough this is another "church".

Any statement against this, is portrayed as older Churches persecuting some new "church". that is insidious.

BUT - Doesn't "everyone" want to go to "THEIR" heaven (Planet) and be a god (or should that be "God?)

"Personally I would love the option to (when I die), to go to another planet because I love to explore but I would NEVER want to think of myself as "GOD".

Guess that is because I am not 'vain'.

Once people understand the underlying attributes of the Mormon faith they will react much as you and I do - with Disbelief and Disgust that people can be that “vain” “arrogant” and a few other adjectives I can think of.

Mormons are just too regimented for my taste. They all drive basically the same (type) of car, wear almost the exact clothing that others in their church wear and do not vary their outlooks based on personal experience but rather on the demands of their teachings.

There is NO thought processes involved with their “growing”. They just follow the precise dictates that everyone else in their church lives by. Nothing more, Nothing less.

That is not personal growth. That is true “mind numbed robots” doing only what they are “programmed” to do and to “perform”.

Communism would have succeeded if they had used the deluded religious beliefs and enforcement of thought such as the Mormon church practices.

If they posited themselves as a separate religion, it would be better

When I graduated from High School, I spent the summer working at the "Teton Lodge" in Wyoming. I almost immediately realized that (about 75%) of the guys and girls working there for the summer - (were Mormons).

Being young and "horny" I learned a certain fact about Mormon girls that I could REALLY learn to live with.....

They loved to screw. Whether it was because they were out on their own without parental / church supervision (or) they were looking for a guy they could convert - I don't know, nor did I care.

So I accommodated them nightly.

I spent (EVERY) night with a different "Mormon" girl and enjoyed my summer immensely.

I never "slept" with the same girl twice during the entire summer.

Do I have an opinion of the females of the Mormon Church? Yes and that is that they are empty headed bimbos.

But I had an entire summer that I WILL NEVER FORGET.

“BUT - Doesn’t “everyone” want to go to “THEIR” heaven (Planet) and be a god (or should that be “God?)” —> hey if it rocks their boat and people are dumb enough to believe that someone can run with a book made of gold (imagine the weight), then ok.
