That’s not necessarily redundancy. In South Africa, and possibly, elsewhere, the two are different. In South Africa there was a split in the 1800’s. The Church of England in South Africa is soundly Biblical, while the Anglicans are like the Church of England, in England, and, I think, the American Episcopalians, ie ordaining women, approving homosexuality, etc.
