Isaiah 45

11. “This is what the Lord says—
the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:
Concerning things to come,
do you question me about my children,
or give me orders about the work of my hands?
12. It is I who made the earth
and created mankind on it.

I marshaled their starry hosts.

The LORD God invites to come and spend time with Him, learning about who He is and how He works. He gave us His Word in the scriptures, He created all that is, by His Word, and sustains it. And He wants our worship, praise, love, obedience. He knows what is good for us and what is evil. When we follow His instructions we are pleasing Him. When we are deceived and do what God said not to do, We are going against God. How presumptuous we are when we accept a deceiving lie from Satan, and then act on it. Look what happened to Eve! and Adam! We are to humbly accept the grace of God in gratitude and thanksgiving. Let it be so. This is my prayer. Forgive us Father, lead us not into temptation, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, grant us understanding of thy Word, deliver us from evil, we cry out for the peace of Israel, Jerusalem, for the persecuted believers, the lost. Thou are sovereign, righteous, holy, eternal, everlasting, full of loving kindness, merciful, pure, true, just, and all power is thine. We love thee, honor thee, glorify thee, rejoice in thee, and praise thee ever, in Jesus name, amen.
