The Catholic Church is certainly not liberal. No homo marriage, no abortion for any reason, no women ordination. This has been the same for 2,000 years. The only thing the Church does that I have problems with is it’s lackadaisical attitude towards illegals. But I think the reason for that is 99% of illegals are Catholic. I can’t think of another reason. Most of my fellow Catholics believe in legal immigration.
What some cafetereia catholic does has nothing at all to do with officlal doctrine of the Catholic Church. Committed Catholics that actually take their faith serious are conservative to the bone. I am not taking about the Pelosis and Bidens of the world, who should be excommunicated for bringing great scandal to the Church.
Well we do have some liberal leaning members. Thankfully our priest is a holy man, but getting up in years. I pray we continue to be a light to the world.
