Ping ...
I'll take government of biblical based virtue any day.
50 years ago we turned away from G_d. Look where we are now!
Good and pure thoughts, but, I don’t think that God is going to fight for us until we’re willing to fight for ourselves. This not “Bruce Almighty”...no one is going to make extra votes end up in the ballot box, unless it’s the illegal, and/or dead democrat voters.
We need to take jawbone of the democrats mascot, and beat the progressives at their own game. It’s been done before!
I’m sure that God could smite all the evil away with the sweep of His hand, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I think He expects “Onward Christian Soldiers” to get the job done.
What we’re fighting is the lefts solidarity, against the fractured structure of the right. Individualism and self-reliance, while admirable virtues, prevent us from making a permanent change, or at least hampers the process.
The extent of the agenda of the left hangs solidly on the amount of timidity of the right.
Stand up, and speak up, God will give us the strength, but we’ve got to fight the battle ourselves.
I don’t think our problems are that we are not united. But that we blindly accept orders from others instead of thinking and maintaining our principles.
"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn."
We have a duty to vote; to fail to participate is to sin against God.
What character does God require of leaders? Character does count. A leader without character will contaminate all that surrounds him.
Character in a leader requires a Godly and righteous man, a man who is wise, honest, discriminating in his choice of aides, and who possesses a willingness to defend the weak and helpless.
What an inspiring and informative talk!
I remain convinced that you are such a man of character, Tom. And, I know that there aren't many like you.
