Ping!
I am Spartacus.
What a weird statement to make, it makes no sense.
In other words, he stands with the Catholic Church in her fight against our government for religious freedom. It's not hard to understand.
Seems that someone (maybe the poster) thinks that religion actually has something to do with this election. Get a clue fellow - this is politics and policies, Liberal against Conservative. Get with it!
It is an extremely weird statement coming from him considering what he did in Massachusetts.
But there is no guarantee of religious freedom with Romney.
Mormon bishop's daughter spills Romney's 'secrets' ...
"The author, who herself was married in a Mormon temple at age 19 but now considers herself a non-denominational Christian, says theres a secret agenda Mormon officials dont like to talk about publicly."
A complete takeover of the government, she said. They have more people in the CIA, the FBI. They have an employment office for Mormons in D.C. to be able to infiltrate them into the government.
Theyve been trying since the beginning to get someone in the presidency, because they believe they have to establish their authority so when Jesus comes to Earth, the Mormon Church will take control of the government and the Mormons will be the government of God on Earth, she continued.
Well, since the Mormons have retroactively baptized all the Popes, Cardinals, Bishops and most Catholics into the Mormon church, I guess he could say he feels like a Catholic, since Catholics are Mormons.
He could also claim to be an Orthodox Jew, for that matter.
No, it is weird considering how he governed in MA.
Two things:
I am not a guy.
If you are going to talk about, ping me.
Oh, yea third thing, apparently you do not know Romney’s record vs the Catholic church in MA.
But this woman has not presented any valid credentials to indicate she would have such knowledge other than being an ex-mo and bishop's daughter. Was she CIA, FBI or some other alphabet agency employee to have gained this level of insight? The primary reason Mormons may [I've not seen any demographics to confirm either way.] make up a large portion of those agencies is that they typically aren't as susceptible to booze, women or related types of blackmail because of their beliefs.
A bishop, is at the same level as a priest or pastor. Usually just the most observant warm body in a ward [congregation] that will accept the "calling".
How would she know about an "...employment office for Mormons in D.C. to be able to infiltrate them into the government." among other things? Her claims are just too incredulous and without any substantiation.
Most everything else she's referring to is the White Horse Propehcy. Where many Mormons believe that a Mormon will save the Republic in her darkest hour.
"The President and his administration said they are going to usurp your religious freedom by demanding that you provide products to your employees -- if youre the Catholic Church -- that violate your own conscience. And so whether its a Catholic businessperson or the Catholic Church itself, theyre being told what they have to do that violates their religious conscience. That attack on religious freedom, I think, is a dangerous and unfortunate precedent.
And I know were not all Catholic in this room. Many presumably are. But I feel that were all Catholic today. In our battle to preserve religious freedom and tolerance and freedom in this country, it is essential for us to push back against that."
So you apparently do not know Romney’s record vs the Catholic Church in MA because of his record it is a weird statement.
Santorium he ain’t. Gingrich he ain’t (this might be a good thing!).
But, I was surprised to learn the other day that Andrea, Kim, Greg, Dana, Eric and sadly Bob are all Catholics on the 5.
Bob would maybe call himself a ‘recoverying’ Catholic, and Greg sounds like he is not a regular at the Mass, but the others sound pretty active.
Boogieman Denier
I am sure some of you will wonder how 6 of them mentioned it at one time. Eric might have actually been off but he is a member of Opus Dei and attends Mass DAILY, and he has said this a couple of times on air before.
I dunno, “We are all Catholics today” seems somewhat more moving and easier to explain than JFK’s “I am a cream filled German pastry”.
Well done!
