Surviving Satan Worship: Author Helps Victims Heal

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Judy Byington lives in a pleasant, respectable neighborhood and by all appearances could be in your LDS Church ward Relief Society presidency.

Maybe she is, but the well-groomed, quiet, retired therapist also is an authority on a topic most in Happy Valley would rather not discuss -- evil. She specializes in helping others win an eternal battle against covens of the devil.

Byington is an authority on Satanists, and as a clinical social worker she spent years helping others heal from wounds so deep most would shrink from the task. With the permission of her clients, she has written about one woman's experience of growing up within a coven and surviving. The book is called "Twenty-Two Faces."

"This is a huge breaking story validating the existence of human sacrifices of children in our society," Byington said.

One of few surviving chosen sacrifices from a Black Temple ceremony, Jenny Hill is the subject of Byington's book "Twenty-Two Faces," published by Tate Publishing. Byington will begin appearing at book signing events of her newly released work about Hill on Aug. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Barnes & Noble in Salt Lake City, 1104 E. 2100 South.

The work does not make for light reading.

"Secret ceremonies in which malevolent men and women cloaked in hooded robes, hiding behind painted faces and chanting demonic incantations while inflicting sadistic wounds on innocent children lying on makeshift altars, or tied to inverted crosses, sounds like the stuff of which B-grade horror movies are made," Byington writes in closing her 428-page work. "Some think amoral religious cults only populate the world of 'Rosemary's Baby,' but don't exist in real life. Or do they? Ask Jenny Hill."

"Ritual abuse was taken seriously and investigated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.....

Keep in mind there’s a cottage industry of “Satanism consultants” that get hired to go around and speak to police departments, etc.

Unfortunately there have been an enormous number of bogus prosecutions of non-existstent “satanic child abuse cults” where large numbers of people have been falsely arrested due to hysteria, leading interrorgations of children, etc.

From the comments at the link:
For the past 25 years the media has unfortanately presented SRA (satanic ritual abuse)
to the public as a modern “salem witch trials” or “satanic panic” of the 1980’s,
and since the 80’s many in the media (as well as in the behavioral sciences) have been biasing public judgment and wounding the credibility of any valid present-day phenomenon, dismissing most cases due to lack of physical evidence... not realizing the level of sophisitication and resourcefulness of satanic networks to cover up their tracks.

Due to the success of their ploy, many will dismiss this poor but lovely woman’s as delusional and her story as merely a creation of her own wounded psyche.
But we know better.

(I could not have said it better. Some of the ‘witch hunts’ were true but powerful people made sure the witnesses were intimidated and facts were changed.)

Sounds vaguely familiar...wasn’t the late Vincent Price in a movie about something similar?

“Hundreds of survivors have been found,” Ross said.

Either these elusive Satanists are totally incompetent at human sacrifice, or a lot of people are craving attention.

“not realizing the level of sophisitication and resourcefulness of satanic networks to cover up their tracks.”

Not realizing an undemonstrable supposition is more like it. To explain the lack of physical evidence by saying they are just really good at covering their tracks is not reasonable. One could just as well say that fairies are real, but they can’t be photographed, and they can only be seen by young girls when no adults are around.

She can’t very well help deliver people from Satan worship since the LDS Church denies the fundamental truths about Christ (and adds a bunch of frankly “docrtines of demons”).~

It seems to me that there should be some evidence for the existence of “Satan” before humans began abstracting him from there own minds to blame and explain their own evil.

But there isn’t any.

On the other hand, there is alot of evidence for God.

And more than enough for charlatans.

. . . many will dismiss this lovely women's as poor but delusional and her story as the creation of her own wounded psyche . . .

From the article: "Satanic mind control programming helped create 22 personalities -- called disassociation -- in Hill as a young child. Brutal and honest, each personality comes forth and discloses secrets it has kept to protect the child within Hill on into adulthood."

Count me with the ones who think her delusional.
