A day after the tragic shooting incident at a Gurudwara, a mosque in the US was burned to the ground for the second time in little more than a month in a suspected arson attack.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation said the Islamic Centre of Joplin in Missouri was gutted down to the ground yesterday. The centre was vacant at the time of the fire and no individuals sustained any injuries.
The FBI, in conjunction with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, and the Missouri Department of Fire Safety are currently investigating and providing significant resources to determine the cause of the fire.
“We are currently in the preliminary stages of this investigation and are awaiting a determination as to the cause of this fire. If this fire is determined to be deliberate in nature, it will be investigated to the fullest extent possible,” said FBI Special Agent in Charge Michael Kaste.
“Any act of violence to a house of worship is taken very seriously by law enforcement and threatens the very core of the safety and security that our communities enjoy,” he said.
Following the incident, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called for stepped-up police protection at Muslim institutions and other houses of worship nationwide.
Recently, a $15,000 reward was announced by the FBI and the ATF for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for the fire at this same centre on July 4.
Yesterday, CAIR had offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever may have caused yesterday’s fire.

I didn’t see anything in the article that actually said it was arson, though it was implied.

Things are heating up fast. As times get more desperate people are looking for someone to blame and more of these kinds of things are going to happen. I just wish the reporting was balanced. A mosque getting torched will have the left in a craze but they constantly neglect the constant persecution that is happening against whites and christians in our country these days. In Dearborn,MI muslims verbally and physically assaulted a group of christian protesters, the homosexuals are assaulting anyone who doesn’t agree with them. They want civil war and its sadly coming.
Yeah, it’s coming....and Muslims, homosexuals, Socialists, radical blacks, etc., are going to learn the meaning of the word “minority” in ways they never, ever, ever dreamed.
Which Catholic or Christian Church in Joplin Missouri will not be burned in a revenge attack? Isn’t that there mode of operation?

It must have been the worlds fastest rebuild for it to burn down TWICE in one month....
I know of two tall buildings in New York City that burned and collapsed killing thousands of people. They weren’t churches but none the less the people who committed the crime are of the same group of people who worship in the mosque mentioned in this story. Payback is a bitch.
Let’s say it was arson. That doesn’t mean that some bitter clinger set it. I believe it is more likely that a member of the mosque set it.
