Can you reframe from using such language. Yes, for more than 150 years there was a debate in the Church over the identity of Christ. In four different ecumenical councils. The debate was basically over the interpretation of the Bible. The first council was arranged by the Emperor Constantine to end divisions in the Church caused by the teachings of an Alexandrian cleric Arius. But I emphasize that it was a debate about the meaning of scripture. Disregard the authority of the Church and the councils, you can comes up with many other theories, among them Arianism and Nestorianism and monophysitism. The Protestant Reformers generally were trinitarians, but dismissing the authority of the councils, they let their successors at loose ends so to speak, since they have had to go back to square one and argue over the meaning of Scripture.

Jesus had a simple message and it was not loaded down with trinity stuff or anything else! I already wrote it and it is being promoted at the fhu.com....the church has fallen down and we are in the apostasy big time. For those who are aware, they see this clearly.
