Metaphors are simply “a figure of speech in which a term or phrase is applied to something to which it is not literally applicable in order to suggest a resemblance...”
The Godhead is real.
Many instances in the Bible have more than one Person of the Godhead appearing at the same time. Metaphors do no appear - or have physical shapes or sounds.
