Doctrine & Covenants section 132

Joesph Smith must have had a great imagination and he also wanted more than plural wives, he wanted power, i find it hard to believe that any one could have taken him serous then or now, especially since it contradicts the book of Mormon which they also claim came from God.

But most people who join a church do not know beans about the Bible, and the sad part is that they can attend a church for years and still only know what the pastor tells them it means.

All of the Churches i have attended except one or two have contradicted the Bible on two points, tithing and Sunday Sabbath.

My only problem with the Mormon bashing is that the issue is always plural wives, even though most Christians hold Abraham and Jacob in high esteem until the plural wife issue comes up and then they seem to forget who those guys are.

I want to say to them.

Remember who Abraham is, The friend of God, or Jacob, the father of the the tribes of Israel?

you can spend an eternity in church and never hear any one say a bad word against either one of them, they are never accused of adultery.

The Mormon issue should not be plural wives because it is not forbidden in the Bible, but false doctrine and claims that i believe are false based on what i read from the Bible.

But i have a feeling that most people who bash Mormonism would be just fine with all of the other false doctrine if it did not include sister wives.

It is nothing but jealousy and pride, and i need to ask, why is the Mormon Church growing so big? could it be that non Mormons are advertising that the Mormons can have more than one wife?

If so there are going to be a lot of disappointed people because that is not the case.
