PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Roman Catholic priest in Philadelphia who was previously cleared of inappropriate conduct has been suspended due to new allegations of sexual abuse, church officials said Monday.
The accusations, which involve minors and date back about 30 years, first surfaced last spring, according to the archdiocese.
The Associated Press is not naming the 56-year-old priest because he has not been criminally charged. He could not be reached for comment on Monday.

So we are to believe that a Priest at the age of 26 was boinking a young boy and the boy took 30 years to come forward? Doesn’t pass the smell test especially since 30 years ago was 1982 the year he was ordained? I guess we need more information. Just remember, people are making big bucks off these cases.
It happens all the time.
Males don’t tell because of misplaced fear, shame and guilt. It’s fine with me any time they decide to come forward and name their sexual abusers.
I hope the priest is not being falsely accused. If he’s guilty, I hope he gets nailed.
