Even believing there is a God involves Faith. Because I do believe in God, and that he created all things, even if by using an evolutionary process, I deem this to show a very high level of Intelligence. I believe my daughter is intelligent, and she has yet to master geometry. The creator of all things must have what we define as intelligence. I would think if you don’t believe God is intelligent, you’re an atheist.

Intelligence involves reason, logic, a high level of mental acuity. I wouldn’t have faith in a God not possessing these attributes. Are we not made in Gods image if you are a believer?

Being made in God’s image to me has little to do with our opinions of what is or is not reasonable, logical or possessing mental acuity.

“God’s purpose” is, in IMHO, impossible for the human mind to fathom through reason.

I believe Faith in God is a neccesity, but presuming to know the “mind of God” is not Faith but hubris.
