**-Are you going to tell your dying father and mother, who go to mass, that they were cowards and heretics in leading their children and grandchildren away from Jesus and the Church to the world and that they better use their remaining time to be a holy example to others.**

My 99 year old father just received the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, thank you, God.

A couple of years ago I did tell him that in voting for democrats he was supporting abortion. He didn’t believe me. And yes, like you said, it took a lot of courage.

I wish the Church was demonstrating a bit more of the sort of courage they are expecting all of us to have.

Case in point, last week’s Mass. There was a one-line announcement from the pulpit (and an identical one line in the bulletin) telling parishoners that they “could go to the parish website to view a video put out by the Conference of Catholic Bishops regarding issues pertinent to this election”.

Wow! What staggering courage! Can’t have all the Democrat union hacks around here boycotting the collection basket I guess.
