I can see your logic, but the reality is that christmas isn’t Christian, its commercial. They simply need the revenue.

Christ’s real birth date was at Yom Kippur, and his family didn’t migrate to Egypt on either date.

Hogwash. December 25th is the day on the Catholic Liturgical calendar that the Mass commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, prominently proclaimed in each of the Gospels, is commemorated and celebrated. It is not the contention of the Church that December 25th was His actual birthday. It is, however, a high holy day and has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas Trees, Yule Logs, Elves, Reindeer, Holly Wreaths, etc. It is and was very much Christian. Peace be with you
