I think it's the former but not the latter; that's why I don't use the word "cult," because it generally indicates both.

This is what I said: I do not need to say mormonism is a cult, I would say it is anti-Christian blasphemy.

In addition, I do see and have experience in the emotionally abusive aspect of mormonism for more than 50 years.

There are plenty of former mormons on FR, just ask them about the emotional abuse.
