In my very laid back rural area our pastor read the bishop’s (LaCrosse WI) letter which I knew he was going to do.He didn’t go into a lengthy sermon he had a funeral to do within the next hour after the mass I attended But at each of the Saturday and two Sunday masses there were cartop signs which appeared in the parking lot facing the entrance of the church. They read.
SAVE LIVES
AND SEND A MESSAGE
VOTE STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN
Whether this works and I’ve seen a few prominent church members have the full party line up demo-com candidates yard signs on their lawns..remains to be seen ...
