Are you suggesting that I have an illegitimate reason for wanting to know? I'm really not sure what I have to do with it. It would lend credibility to the claim, and it would also expose the official to some much needed criticism (No?). What would I do? Not much from three time zones away, but I suspect that there might be some very appropriate blow-back at the local level (No?).

Maybe there is something else being taken care of. I suppose there could be some kind of response plan in action that requires this person's name to be held in secret. Maybe there is no “legitimate” need for the public (not just me) to know that information about a public official.

Sorry if I hit a nerve about guts, but it is ironic that in an article about being kicked around, the author wouldn't even name the name of someone behaving rather despicably. Unless confronted, that county official will simply kick again, harder.

I am a writer, and often we write on principals of a matter without naming names in hopes that our influence with individuals not be diminshed where we have opportunity to help someone see light, or to protect some individual from the extreme, when an operation to restore that individual to right thinking is in progress.

But you can still ask Dr. Boys directly.
