In my short time on these threads, I’ve learned to expect “non answers” from Mormons. I’ve been told by people in the know, that they will answer only questions, “I should have asked”.

Yep or they will dodge the question altogether and just bear their ‘testimony’ - a rote memorization of how they ‘know’ the LDS church is true based on their feelings.
