In a candid interview with Dr. Boyce Watkins about gang violence, Father Michael Pfleger of The Faith Community of St. Sabina in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood, provides an explicit definition of abortion. It is his belief that anything stopping another human being from fulfilling their God-given purpose is a form of abortion.
Father Pfleger also discusses the Peace Tournament he organized that included four of Chicago’s most powerful gangs, or as he references them,”organizations” that came together to play a peaceful game of basketball. He explains how he continues to assist members of the organizations by helping them acquire their education and by prepping them for jobs.

On the true meaning of abortion:
"We always link abortion to something that goes on in a womb, in a clinic. If we believe that every single human being has a G0d-given destiny and purpose then anything, anything that cuts short that person from reaching that destiny, that divine purpose — that’s a form of abortion. We just narrow abortion. So bad education is abortion. No jobs are abortion. Racism is abortion. Poverty is abortion. So when we start to look at that way… So you know, let’s stop aborting these kids out here..."

Seems he's been 'aborted' too. Guess he didn't get a chance to play basketball growing up.
Therefore, your support for public schools, unions, and the minimum wage - all of which have negative impacts on black teens - is totally dead wrong. Stupid or evil ... evil or stupid ...? I’d have to go with “Both.”
He should have been defrocked years ago. The guy is an embarrasment to the Catholic faith.
He won't like making that point about black teenagers but then he'll have to explain why he doesn't want to focus on the murder of black teens instead of just midnight basketball or whatever.

Nah, they know a wink and a nod when they see one and this is just an attempt to have something to say about their political agenda other than "social justice".
