I’m so sorry about Sarah.
And bless you Potlatch.
I’ll never forget that you wrote to me the day after she passed to pray for my puppy, even though your sorrow and and needs were *by far* greater than my own.
You’re both in my prayers.
I can only hope that Sarah’s journey is an easy one.
She will soon see the glory of the Lord and be forever happy.
It’s only those of us left behind that feel sadness.
Thank you so much Sal, your words made me feel good and I hope things are going well for you with your puppy.
It’s been a long Thanksgiving day and I’m heading for bed.
Thanks, Sal... not only for your prayers and kind thoughts, but for your gift of laughter and your way with words.
Occasionally, I’d zip over to your forum posts to give myself a gentle laugh and more than a few fits of the giggles. Sad tears became tears of laughter. The picture of the Doberman and your words about grabbing its tail cracked me up. And, of course, that ol’ Alice feller is always on my top-ten list.
After my visits, I’d return to thoughts of Sarah, refreshed and with a smile on my face, wishing I could send your funny, off-the-wall comments over to her guestbook, so she and her sisters could enjoy a good howl.
Thanks, Salamander, and God bless.
