There are many very confused and deceived individuals who post and post to anti-Catholic topics on these threads. These anti-Catholics self identify by their selective participation and always critical commentary. This thread is a perfect example.
Where there is a complete and likely willful ignorance of any of the positive contributions to peace in the middle east made by the Church and Catholics, there is an eagerness to believe the worst, assume the worst and recite the worst based upon nothing more that a desire to harm the Church. Compounding this is the denial that this behavior is in anyway judgmental or anti-Catholic. These people are not evil, but their actions are. Although we are warned by moderators about assigning motive we can certainly question them and come to the obvious conclusions.
The question is what can or should we do about it? We already know.
"Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
