Within the actual context in which it was spoken, do you think the article accurately represents the Cardinal's statement and the position of the Catholic Church or do you join me in condemning the article and the spirit in which it has been embraced in this thread?
I stand behind my statement that Lera should be ashamed of his text book example of passive aggressive behavior in his drive by posting, but there was nothing passive about the rabid support and high fiving that followed from the usual anti-Catholics.

Why ask for context if the statement wasn’t made at all. Are you stating that the statement WAS made?
Cronos says the statement wasn’t even made. I found another source that makes no extraneous points or extrapolations.
Do you believe the statement was uttered in any context at all?
