Creeds are for those that wrap their “worship” around things other than the pure belief in Christ as he presented himself. Real Christians have no need to recite crafted words of men.

Creeds are a summary of the faith, and a helpful standard.

I stated what I did in the way I did as a roundabout way of saying that Rood guy looked (from everything I could find about him on the Interwebz) to be a very, very dubious source for anything Christian.

Rood is a very solid source, because he has studied the word of God diligently.

Where in God’s word are we comanded to make a creed and then recite it? Nowhere in the word is a creed listed.
