We all deal with our sinful nature and the Holy Spirit is always in the process of sanctification. Perhaps the Spirit is working on other parts of a sinful nature that have led to the occupation. Perhaps the actress is stuck. Many Christians get stuck.

God’s ways of dealing with His people are not our ways. I would not assume that a porn actress is not a Christian anymore than I would assume someone obese from gluttony is not a Christian.

Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.”
Luke 7:44-47
The forgiveness is available if a person truly repents...no matter what their previous lifestyle or past sins are.

What about, “Go, and sin no more”?

If their life is really changed, they will find a way out. There’s plenty of help available. They might not make as much money on the deal.

That said, let’s look at another aspect. These actresses have “higher self-esteem”. So, then, why are they using drugs? There’s another demographic that tends to have high self-esteem. And the higher the self-esteem, the less they often have to back it up with.

I’m saying the situations may be analogous.

I agree. There is much mystery in his methods and his works.

There are, according to the usual catalog, 7 Deadly Sins:
Pride
Avarice
Lust
Envy
Gluttony
Anger
Sloth

(Obviously I use the mnemonic PALEGAS).

Any one of them can be deadly, and most of us are subject to one or two (or more) of them, all our lives.

However, a Christian ought to examine his conscience, and resolve a least not to justify, promote, or reward these sins; and to repent, confess, and form a battle plan against them in oneself.

A porn actress who loves the Lord, is a porn actress on her way out of the industry. Let's pray for such people, and for each other.

Nor would I assume that God deems a man to be a truly spiritual Christian just because he declares himself to be so in his public diary.
