May God bless you on your journey through RCIA. I too was raised Episcopalian. I too grew completely disheatened by the progressive decline of the the Episcopal church. I “crossed the Tiber” in 2000.

I don’t get out to Our Lady of Walsingham much, but it seems to be a solid parish. I too believe that the Church is our last defense in these times cultural dissolution. Be advised, however, that the same forces that destroyed the Episcopalian denominations are at work in the Catholic Church; they won’t destroy her, but they do cause a lot of distress!

Dont forget Bishop Spong. Liberal humanist theology took over the ECUSA long before the gay crowd waltzed in the door.
