ALL Protestan theorists use Reveleations to continue their attack on the Catholic Church.

Many then go on to remove themselves from any coming tribulations, by inventing “the Rapture”, which necessarily denies the 2nd coming of Christ, by injecting a third.

There have been many “Anti-Christs” through history.

The Bible never refers to “the” singular, Anti-Christ.

But of course there have been many "Anti-Christs", but there has yet to be in this flesh age an instead of Christ. And he has been named in the singular, and it was he and he alone that tempted Christ. And Christ said all but the 'very elect' would be deceived. Paul says those of the 'very elect' were chosen before the foundation of this world. (That means before the casting down - overthrow of the first rebel in what Peter calls the world (age) that WAS.)

The devil is going to get tossed out here on earth by Michael, with those sons of God, of Genesis 6, and the ancient ones of Jude. Christ said it would be again as in the days of Noe (Noah), we are not there yet. The tribulation is that all but the very elect will believe this supernatural being is Jesus coming to 'save'!!!! When Christ walked in a flesh body upon this earth as the final perfect blood sacrifice there was NO Catholic Church.

old garge: These are nothing but your personal animus against Catholics couched as "experts agree with me". Kind of like "when did you stop beating your wife?" questions by Leftist media types.

G Larry ALL Protestan theorists use Reveleations to continue their attack on the Catholic Church.

Speaking of personal animus and beating wives....

Yeah, the Protestants made it up.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV)
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

All protestants do not use Revelation to attack the Catholic Church. Look up the background of Scott Hahn. He’s a fairly clear-cut case. Plus, there are many others, including me.

Also, a rapture of the church before the 2nd coming on earth does not deny the second coming.

“ALL Protestan theorists use Reveleations to continue their attack on the Catholic Church.”

That’s a pretty broad brush, and actually, the Protestants aren’t the only ones. The Catholics themselves assert that Babylon is a spiritual codeword for Rome, when they claim that the use of that in Peter’s epistle signifies that he was at Rome, in order to bolster their claim for him as a Bishop there. Also, it was the Catholic seer Malachi Martin who made a prophetic list of Popes, with the antichrist seemingly taking the final place. The idea that Mystery Babylon will turn out to be Rome/the Catholic Church, or some perverted form of it, did not spring from Protestants, but pre-dated them.

“There have been many “Anti-Christs” through history.

The Bible never refers to “the” singular, Anti-Christ.”

Not in that specific language, but it certainly refers to a singular, end-times figure that leads the opposition to God. Most people refer to that guy by the moniker “Anti-Christ”, but we can call him the Beast, or the Man of Perdition if you want to be all literal about it.

Can,t see why that would be the reason, If the catholic church is the mother of the harlots the protestant Churches would be the daughters.

It would not be talking about just the Catholic Church, it would be talking about all of them.
