I’ve got reading glasses in each car, on the bike, in the kitchen, each bathroom (I do a lot of reading there) the pocket of each jacket, with my wallet in my pants and the best pair on the computer desk.

But I passed the driver’s license renewal test on my 64th birthday without them.

I didn’t need mine to renew my license either.

Apparently they only test for long distance vision.

[thank God]

:D

I don’t have as many pairs as you do all over the place but every room in the house and each vehicle has a cheapie pair stashed somewhere because I tend to forget to take them with me when I leave the room.

And then I need my glasses to find the *other* glasses I have stashed in other places.

I think “America’s Best” eye center really screwed up my vision.

It wasn’t this bad until I stupidly went there thinking I’d save big bucks.

The glasses didn’t seem right and I couldn’t convince them of that.

Unfortunately, our insurance pays for one exam/glasses a year so I had to wear them until the next year and by that time, my prescription was ~really~ weird.

I’ve been trying to retrain my eyes by reading as much as I can without glasses.

Not easy.

I have to squint like crazy..:-\
