Don't tell the sweet little dears, but the fact that they believe in the "virgin birth" (a scientific impossibility), the resurrection of a dead man (a scientific impossibility), a man walking on water (a scientific impossibility), multiplication of loaves and fishes (a scientific impossibility), and "the real presence" (a scientific impossibility) means that they are themselves "dangerous fundamentalists," just like "those awful people who live in trailers."
Of course, since no "scientist" will challenge anything outside the first eleven chapters of Genesis, this is a big secret to them. Shhhhh.
