Today, a federal court denied a request to temporarily stop enforcement of the abortion pill mandate, which would force the Christian-owned-and-operated Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., to provide the “morning-after pill” and “week-after pill” in its health insurance plan, or face crippling fines up to $1.3 million per day.
“The Green family is disappointed with this ruling,” said Kyle Duncan, general counsel for the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty. “They simply asked for a temporary halt to the mandate while their appeal goes forward, and now they must seek relief from the United States Supreme Court. The Greens will continue to make their case on appeal that this unconstitutional mandate infringes their right to earn a living while remaining true to their faith.”
The 10th Circuit judges denied the motion calling the religious burden to the Green family “indirect and attenuated.”
Founded in an Oklahoma City garage in 1972, the Green family has grown Hobby Lobby from one 300-square-foot retail space into more than 500 stores in 41 states.
“It is by God’s grace and provision that Hobby Lobby has endured,” said David Green, founder and CEO. “Therefore we seek to honor God by operating the company in a manner consistent with Biblical principles.”
Hobby Lobby is the largest and only non-Catholic-owned business to file a lawsuit against the HHS mandate.
The Green family has no moral objection to the use of preventive contraceptives and will continue covering preventive contraceptives for its employees. However, the Green family’s religious convictions prohibit them from providing or paying for the abortion-inducing drugs, the “morning-after” and “week-after” pills, which would violate their most deeply held religious belief that life begins at conception.
The business’s lawsuit acts to preserve its right to carry out its mission free from government coercion.
There are now 42 separate lawsuits challenging the HHS mandate, which is a regulation under the Affordable Care Act (aka “Obamacare”).
The Becket Fund led the charge against the unconstitutional HHS mandate, and along with Hobby Lobby represents: Wheaton College, East Texas Baptist University, Houston Baptist University, Belmont Abbey College, Colorado Christian University, the Eternal Word Television Network, and Ave Maria University.
What the companies will have to do is to get out of the employee insurance business, let them worry about their own insurance.
That’s the whole intent.
ObamaCare is nothing but a mechanism to force businesses to drop benefit insurance coverage - so as to get the American people to sign onto a single-payer Death Panel® Obama-run program.
All medical care will be dispensed by government - and all Doctors and nurses will be Government Union employees - complete with wage controls and restrictions on treatments. Think Cuba or Soviet Union Health Care.

Yet minority groups that claim to be Christian voted for Obozo in overwhelming numbers. Specifically where were the African American ministers that vowed to speak out against abortion and gay marriage? Does race trump God? Dos it trump what is right?
Americans still do not see the full picture yet. American Churchianity is a fulfillment of a prophecy in II Timothy 3 - and that passage is speaking of us in all practicality. The TRUE religion of many so-called Christians is not biblical or Christ-centered. Leftist Ideology IS THEIR TRUE RELIGION. It is what they worship in mind and soul. It is the purpose of their efforts to perpetrate, proselytize and preach the gospel of the State, of which they demand all worship. It is why Jews in America vote for Israel-hating Marxists over and over again. It is one reason why blacks vote 99.99% for MarxoFascists (second only to free handouts and revenge against whites).

I have a friend who grew up near Heidleberg, Germany. He was in gradeschool during the rise of Hitler and WWII. He recounts one episode in which the children in his class were asked who believed in and loved God. Being a strong Catholic and Lutheran children all raised their hands.
The teacher then told them to close their eyes and lower their heads and pray to God for a piece of chocolate, something that none had had in several years. They all prayed, but none of them received any chocolate.
The teacher then asked them how many believed in and loved the Fuhrer. My friend recalls that most raised their heads as much out of fear and anything else. She then told them to close their eyes, lower their heads and pray to Hitler for some chocolate. She then distributed a piece of chocolate to each child compliments of Hitler.
What is happening to the American public by the Obama administration is not unlike what happened in Germany.
I heard the same exact story from my B-I-L’s father who was 9 when Hitler came to power. He recalls that same ‘brainwashing’ and then goes on to discuss how the pastors in the Lutheran church preached Nazism and not the bible. It was preached that the suffering under the Weimar leadership was due to the Jews and the Europeans.
He was mandated to serve in the Hitler Youth as it was compulsory for all children - and what is frightening is seeing the fear in his face when he takes note of what is going on right now in America.
His exclamation is, “It’s happening all over again - but now, there is nowhere to flee to!”. He can not believe how ignorant Americans are of what happened just 70 years ago - and how much of it is being repeated nearly verbatim right in front of us.
Most troubling is the repeat of the efforts to diminish the Catholic Church and remove it as a morally superior counter to the state. The left is today following the blueprint to the letter. Simply research the so-called Morality Trials conducted by the Nazis. We are seeing the deliberate efforts of the government and their media cheerleaders to cause the population to mentally associate Catholic priests with pedophiles and the Church as officially tolerating and even encouraging it. It was particularly effective among the anti-Catholic Protestants and atheists who wanted so desperately to believe it.
