Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

As a young Graphic Design Major in College, I would often wander down to the back of the school, where the sculptors, metal-workers, and glass-blowers had their furnaces. Even when the wind-chill factor was below zero, it was always hot around the outdoor kilns. The Silversmiths seemed to have the hardest job. The glowing metal actually SMELLED nasty as the impurities were burned off. Then, the purified liquid was poured into a mold, absolutely obliterating the wax form inside.
When The LORD Purifies our souls, it is a harsh and difficult process. Nasty things are exposed and removed, much like the smelly impurities in the metal. Old wax forms and patterns of behavior must be burned away completely, leaving only the silver. And then the silver must be polished and refined, so that the Lord can see HIS Face reflecting back at Him, like a mirror.

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.

He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness.

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and or Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings to All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer

That's all those things and times, we thought we were right. And if we knew to do it His Way - we can now see how things would have been different for ourselves and/or for those around us. God is always right and we are not.

I can see how it could be smelly because it certainly leaves one wanting to hide that we don't even want to see that root of rot in ourselves.

While in the garden, praying for others in harm's way, or in need or less fortunate - God blesses us with a message. We can never out give God. As we pour out, HE continues to pour in - even the knowledge of more smelly refinement needed.
