I thought after the flood God had promised not bring down his vengence on earth anymore. Didn’t Jesus cry out for his father to forgive us for we know not what we do?

God promised never to send a universal flood again, but the third chapter of the second epistle of ST Peter tlls us that God will “Melt the heavens and the earth with a fervant heat”, to prepare for the new world wherein dwells Righteousnss. Are you ready for that to happen?
