LOL you haven’t coon hunted till you’ve been in that kind of territory in a Michigan November. A coon and a hound can cross the ice just fine but swamp ice is usually too thin for a man.

If ...whatever authority...presume to have from the Constitution decide that document no longer means what it plainly says, all kinds of subjective reasoning is likely to come to the surface.

So true!

So if the 2nd Amend doesn't mean what it clearly means then the 1st Amend doesn't mean what it clearly means.

I don't think they really want to start taking apart that vernable old document, now do they?

Unfortunately, I recognize this guy’s writings. Have you heard of Francis Schaeffer, the guy who was an apologist for the Christian faith? He died in the 80s, I believe. His son (Franky, now Frank) was involved in the family ministry (mother: Edith Schaeffer, etc.) and then he turned on all of them. He has voiced the most vitriolic, hateful stuff ever heard. He hates Christians and frequently writes hateful stuff. I don’t know what happened to him, but he speaks badly about his families’ beliefs. This guy has lost it, somehow. I feel sorry for him, to be honest. But I don’t read his stuff anymore. Francis Shaeffer’s videos are still good to listen to today. He talks about and forewarns/foretells exactly what America is doing today. It is a sad commentary on America.

You could see Franky losing it in the 80s. He wrote a book called “A Modest Proposal”, supposedly showing that Reagan was building concentration camps in America for the Christians a Jews. He has since lost it totally and is now totally against the Christians and Jews. He had to have mental problems growing up. All he does now is spew hatred. Sad.

If his father’s words were put in the mouth of Obama’s pastor or any black American preacher, “people would be accusing that preacher of treason,” he contends.

Jr has it ass-backwards.

The elder Schaeffer's "treason" would be because the US government no longer upheld it's constitutional duties, not because it was holding it's traditional roles.

Rev Wright hates the US because of what it(use to)stand for.

“DC, shut up and fix this mess. Or we will replace you.”

Sadly the low information voters would be all to happy to keep these congresscritters in office so long as the free phones have minutes left on them and there’s money on the SNAP card.

When do they start handing out all of the ammunition they’ve purchased?

A few seconds before the people start dishing out all of the ammunition that they've purchased.

If they don’t want to follow the Constitution, why don’t they secede? Seems like they already have. I just wish they wouldn’t drag the rest of US down with them.

Sure would be nice if a nationwide effort was started in each accepting state of at least asking for able bodied men or woman to serve in a regulated militia.

Either that or millions will be forming irregular militias, each one with all the intents of sticking to the words of the 2A. And these folks won’t be just strutting around openly carrying in JC penny stores.
There is plenty of ways to equalize the threat ratio of a government that has proven far and way beyond a doubt its divergence from Constitutional law.

Its time for the Tea Party to become the Tea Brigades. They can call it whatever they want, armed teabaggers actually sounds aptly descriptive and historically correct.

Go to www.ruger.com Ruger set up an email system when you enter your address, it automatically sends an email letter to all officials (local, state, Congress to POTUS). It started less then three weeks ago. It has over 709,000 last I looked. Go and click, get your family and friends to go and click. I would like to see over 1,000,000 by week four. Right now Dem reps are counting votes to test public sentiment. Emails and letters are stronger then poll samples. Even the ones in NY who just suffered a gun ban bill, click anyways, so rural Dem reps realize what they just did - kick a hornets nest open.

“Every demographic and political trend that helped to reëlect Barack Obama runs counter to the [South’s] self-definition:…The Solid South speaks less and less for America and more and more for itself alone… Solidity has always been the South’s strength, and its weakness.

95% of blacks vote for BHO, but Solidity defines the South.

By definition these “tyrants” are those who “don’t agree with the freedoms you cherish.” In other words they are the government representing most Americans who are not insane gun collecting survivalists, southern white males afraid of the world, and assorted Fox News watchers. the secular Marx-based revolutionaries who have vocally plotted since the '60's to overthrow the US system and replace it with a totalitarian regime.

The Social Security Institute, describes itself as a “nonpartisan seniors advocacy organization.” Its website offers warnings about “world government” and the “New World Order.” And SSI’s president, Lawrence Hunter, wrote recently that “[a] heavily armed citizenry is not about armed revolt; it is about defending oneself against armed government oppression.” I.E., against our black president and the people – the American majority – who elected him.

Did BHO get a majority? I seem to recall that people stayed home in droves, many of them in protest of the proffered choices.

Frank Schaeffer is a writer and author of Crazy for God: How I Grew Up as One of the Elect, Helped Found the Religious Right, and Lived to Take All (or Almost All) of It Back .

Having rejected God, atheists seem to desire an oppressive, totalitarian, repressive, all-powerful state; which inflicts upon those at peace with God the kind of hopeless despair and misery felt by atheists.

“A bunch of far right white mostly southern paranoid extremists are preparing for armed revolution and apocalypse.”

Cool. Let's get the party started.

“They had a choice, all of them. They could have followed in the footsteps of good men like my father, or President Truman. Decent men, who believed in a day’s work for a day’s pay. Instead they followed the droppings of lechers and Communists and didn’t realize that the trail led over a precipice until it was too late. Don’t tell me they didn’t have a choice."

"Now the whole world stands on the brink, staring down into bloody hell, all those liberals and intellectuals and smooth-talkers… and all of a sudden, nobody can think of anything to say.”
Rorschach – from The Watchmen

Assuming you are joking, am speaking from a position of experience (am not a reader of any liberal tracts and very few so-called conservative ones)—our family.

Family has been in the South since before the War Between the States. We had extensive experience with Reconstruction, the Freedmen’s Bureaus making up the laws and confiscating property (including firearms), and the Union Army occupation, and theft of our property without law.
When speaking of “getting along” as regards firearms, it is no mystery to Southerners, that once property issues were resolved, people had to have firearms for self defense in the cities or to eat, in the country and self defense. And it has never been a big deal. Only a big deal for liberal white racists who forever are trying to run ALL of our lives, and are trying to re-write history to impose their will on Free men.

Problem? Not a one.
This article is f’d up in assumptions in the first place. It isn’t Southern whites, it’s Southern everybody, and it’s Northern everybody (even in Detroit, that isn’t brain dead or living in Chicago (the same thing politically)and Western everybody. We should all watch for tyranny and resist, fight back. If this joker wants to call it treason to defend Constitutional rights— well then in grand tradition let him take a weapon and stand post, because he’ll be the first to go.

The rural tradition (white and black)of self sufficiency (we subsistence farm/fish/hunt) and the informal militia, and a hundred other cultural norms the rest of the country, with some exception(an exception being rural midwest, southern IL, MI,WI, and Western states like Idaho) has forgotten, persists strongly in the South.

Older Southern families tend to react to this idiot central government based on former abuse. We’ve been here before was my point, and long ago (in getting rid of the federal pestilence) came to accomodation with all sorts of people (unknown to the kneejerk leftists).

People who don’t know their history don’t know what happened, nor do they know we will not let it happen again. We are the only section of the country to have had such an experience, and we survived it by resistance. Truly, nothing is more laughable than a mulatto maoist/marxist pretending to be Lincoln and trying to take our firearms. Just isn’t going to happen— there isn’t enough feds to do it, and the military won’t. Deo Vindice.

Want to see it being done right now, this week? On Monday obamaumao engaged in pure newspeak. Ben Shapiro from Breitbart analyzed the inaugural address-as being a language of opposites, Orwellian. Starting with the Declaration of Independence and then completely re-defining what it says to satisfy the “collective”. Very scary and very marxist doublespeak.

It is on townhall: http://townhall.com/columnists/benshapiro/2013/01/23/obamas-orwellian-inaugural-address-n1495214
