Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Lord and Heavenly Father
You Are The One True God,
The God Of The Heavens,
And Even Rahab, The Gentile Harlot of Jericho, Knew this!
You have displayed Your Power and Your Provision for Israel,
And Promised Abraham that You Would Bless Those Who Bless him,
And Curse those who Curse him.
Indeed, even with Rahab's Gentile Status and her lowly profession,
You bless her mightily for her assistance to the Hebrew Spies.
Indeed, she and her family are not only spared, But she ends up being an ancestor of King David, King Solomon, and is in the Genealogy of Jesus.
Thank You, Father, God of the Heavens, For your Grace and Mercy!

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.

When we heard of it, our hearts melted and everyone's courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem.
We Pray for Our Own Leaders in America,
May They Speak Comfort to Jerusalem.
May We NOT be Numbered Among Israel's Enemies, God Forbid!
We Pray For The American People,
May They NOT be Deceived by the Media.
May Their Eyes be Opened with regard to God's People Israel.

We pray for an END to Lies,
Slander, Blood Libel, Propaganda,
and Antisemitism against Your Beloved.
We Pray For an End to Slavery,
Hostage-Taking,
and Piracy wherever it is Practiced Around the World.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
so that All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netanyahu, and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Before attacking Jericho, Joshua sent two spies into the city. Rahab, a prostitute who lived in the defensive wall(probably NOT the best neighborhood!), assisted the spies and helped them escape, with the provision that the conquering army spare her and her family. The spies agree, and tell her to hang a piece of red cloth in her window as a sign to them. The Hebrews are true to their word, and Rahab is spared. Not only that, she marries Salmon of Judah and becomes the mother of Boaz, who married Ruth. Ruth was the Great-Grandmother of King David.

Some commentators (Including Rashi) try to whitewash Rahab's "profession", saying she was actually an innkeeper. But that doesn't really fit the narrative as presented in the Book of Joshua.

Her "profession" is actually of great importance here, because it shows the Ultimate GRACE and Forgiveness of Our Holy God.

Both Rahab and Ruth (as well as Tamar and Bathsheba) are mentioned in Matthew's Account of the Genealogy of Jesus of Nazareth. It is highly unusual to even MENTION women in ancient genealogies, especially women with a questionable "past". But God's ways are not our ways, and His grace is bigger than any of us can possible imagine.

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.

When we heard of it, our hearts melted and everyone's courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below.

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our beloved Nation.

Isaiah 46:3 “Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been borne by me from before your birth, carried from the womb; 4 even to your old age I am he, and to grey hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.

OH LORD GOD, it is no small thing to PRAY for YOUR PEOPLE ISRAEL, and the PEACE of JERUSALEM, with words of comfort and Blessing…for YOU assigned a blessing and curse upon those who do and those who do not. YOU, OH SOVEREIGN GOD, LOVE ETERNALLY, and Israel is in the center of YOUR EYE, as a firstborn child and a son, and even thought I may something of the love of a first born child, and a son, because I have one of each…I can’t even scrape the surface of the depth of LOVE YOU have over YOUR PEOPLE in comparison. I pray for them today LORD GOD, for New Mercies over YOUR people, for New Grace over the Land, for continued providence over families, for Your Almighty Hand over the IDF. OH LORD,I, we BLESS ISRAEL…Amen
