These Colleges have been showing this since the early 2000’s. How many times do these Higher educated knuckleheads need to see the Play to figure out what a Vagina is?

These days, most Catholic colleges and universities aren’t.

The pathetic thing is that this play is old and was written by people old enough to be the parents of these college students. If they want to feel like they are being sophisticated thinkers about controversial subjects, they can write their own &*#$ play. Aren’t they the least bit embarrassed about rehashing yesterday’s scandals?

I am absolutely appalled to learn that my Alma Mater, Loyola University Maryland, permitted the presentation of this misbegotten melange of garbage in March, 2004.

"Loyola College has received a handful of protests from alumni and parents of students in response to the advertisement. But it has no plans to cancel the production, scheduled for March 10-11 on the campus at 4501 N. Charles St.

The Rev. Harold Ridley, Loyola's president, conceded that the Monologues are "in questionable taste" and that the work "is not the vehicle I would have chosen" to raise awareness of domestic violence.

But, after talking to female students, professors and administrators, he decided that the piece raises legitimate issues that should be heard. "The concerns of our students who are producing this play deserve our attention," he said."

(From the Baltimore Sun, February 18, 204)

When I attended Loyola, back in the early 70's, the school had already become largely secularized. But it never would have permitted a production like this to be shown on-campus. This was apparently a student production as well.

Father Ridley noted that the proceeds were going to the House of Ruth by way of rationalization.

Any Catholic college putting on this piece of leftist crap should have the people who authorized it fired and the students acting in it dismissed from the school. It’s an awful work of radical-feminist, Marxist garbage by a deranged leftist nitwit Eve Ensler.
