SMCC1, I share your criticism with NCR in general, but I’ve been reading Allen for years and years, and I have spoken personally with him a half-dozen times, and I can attest that he is a very serious Catholic; I cannot vouch for his spiritual life, but I am confident that he is a staunch defender of the faith and the team!

In a lot of Italian words, an initial "s" is a negative (for example, gelare means "to freeze" and sgelare means "to thaw" or "to melt"). So Pope Scola might be the Uncola Pope.
