SMCC1, I share your criticism with NCR in general, but I’ve been reading Allen for years and years, and I have spoken personally with him a half-dozen times, and I can attest that he is a very serious Catholic; I cannot vouch for his spiritual life, but I am confident that he is a staunch defender of the faith and the team!
So, evev though “things go better with Coke,” he would then be Pope Scola?
Papabile to some, but will he be palpable to the conclave?
