Gamiliel was a Pharisee and so was Paul a Pharisee - believing in a resurrection of the dead. Be that as it may, your point is off the mark. The point is that wise Gamiliel saved Paul’s life and the lives of others and if Gamiliel hadn’t spoken up, the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ would have suffered. Isn’t it obvious that Heavenly Father used Gamiliel at that perfect specific moment? Heavenly Father often uses men and women from all walks of life and from all persuasions to bless His people!
I didn’t say you aren’t going to hell. I also didn’t say you’re not going to heaven. I’m not God, so I don’t know what will happen in your life or where your heart will be. But I do know what Scripture says, and what we have to believe to be saved.
So are we supposed to believe everything the Pharisees said, if they were well-meaning and did good deeds? Gamaliel may have been wise in some things, but he was wrong there. Again, why have Islam, Scientology, etc. prospered? If Gamaliel had been right, they would never have gotten off the ground. So that right there lets me know that no, He wasn’t inspired by God at that moment.
