It is from this Wonderful Name that we derive the Hebrew Word "Hoshienu" and the English word "Hosanna". In common English usage, "Hosanna" has come to mean a word of praise, or even "Hooray!", but it actually means "SAVE ME!!!!!" and is an urgent plea for rescue.

It is also the root of a number of Hebrew names, such as Joshua, Yehoshua, Yeshua, etc.
