During that rebellious phase kids run the opposite of their parents. Biggest dopehead I ever knew was the daughter of a vice cop. As for the TV show... it’s always amazing to me how anti-woman the “woman’s” network is. Lifetime, where women get beaten, raped and murdered. And now they have reality programs featuring some of the most obnoxious women on TV; many of whom are probably going to get beaten, raped and murdered. Really if the Playboy channel showed these same shows unaltered in any way the women’s movement would be in massive protest, but put it on the “woman’s” network and it’s all OK.

There is probably a different kind of pressure as the child and teen of a pastor. The pastor has to be able to keep his house in order and even a kid raised right can fail temptations. Hormones and peers are huge pressures for the best kids. I mean, adults fail.

Preacher's kid's are no different than others kids we all experiment with this or that, just preacher's kids can't go anywhere with out being recognized, and held to a higher standard.
One year someone came up with a brilliant idea of shipping all us preachers kids off to our own special summer camp. The PK’s out numbered the counselor's thirty to one, you could see the fear in their eyes.
It was challenging growing up a PK ,under such strict set of rules. Wouldn't have changed it for the world

Satan once again uses Hollywood to trash his enemies....why would anyone be surprised? My pastor’s kids (including his quite beautiful college age daughter) are more typical Christian kids - studious, respectful and not involved with the party scene. ‘Course, that wouldn’t make a very interesting show by today’s standards, would it?
