Pelosi would be formally excommunicated by her Bishop in CA. and likewise for Biden in his diocese.
But the have excommunicated themselves by supporting pro-abortion and pro-euthanasia votes.
Thanks for the fast reply. I understand the self-excommunication thing. That hasn’t stopped Biden or Pelosi from presenting themselves anyway. I’m wondering if anyone in Rome (other than Francis) has authority to tell them to stay in their seats or if only their home diocesan bishops have authority to tell them not to present themselves for communion at the installation Mass.
